Finding the perfect property takes time, a luxury not available to the majority of aspiring buyers.  Add to this the daunting and often complex prospect of buying in a foreign country and an unfamiliar market, Mountain Base can provide the local expertise necessary to ease away the anxieties and find the perfect property for you.

By focusing exclusively on the Chamonix Valley, we remain constantly up to date with the market and seek out the opportunities that stay hidden from the casual buyer.  Our team will pro-actively seek out the right property for you, help negotiate the deal and provide advice on all aspects of the purchase process through to completion.

We are fluent French speakers and will accompany you to all meetings and anywhere that a French speaker would be helpful.

How does it work?  We take a small retainer fee which is refunded on successful purchase.  Our fees are then 1% of the negotiated buying price which, in the vast majority of cases, we can take from the vendor or vendor's agent.  If the property has been sourced off market, then the fee may be payable by the purchaser, i.e. the service is free under most circumstances!
