The apartment is on the third floor of a small résidence at the end of the pedestrianised high street. The apartment's entrance hall leads through to the the spacious double height living area with has well-defined living and dining areas, a wood-burning stove, Velux windows providing views towards the Aiguille du Midi and Brévent and a stunning balcony from which to enjoy direct views on to the Mont Blanc. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a large Velux window with views towards Brévent. There are two large bedrooms on the main floor, one of which has an ensuite bathroom. Both of these bedrooms have great views from large Velux windows in the roof. There is also an independent WC.
Wooden stairs from the living area lead up to a twin bedroom in the eaves with a Velux window towards Brévent and en ensuite bathroom.
The apartment is very well located in the centre of town but away from any noise.
Our opinion
This is a unique apartment with tremendous views from each window and a particularly fabulous view of Mont Blanc from the balcony and due to this and it's central location it would make a great rental investment.Location
Situated just off the main street, Rue du Docteur Paccard, it's location means that the numerous shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre are a very short walk away. The nearest supermarket is Petit Casino which is 150 metres from the apartment.For access to the slopes, the nearest bus stop, Chamonix Centre, is 200m away. The nearest ski area is Brévent, 2 minutes by bus or car, just to the north of the town centre. The famous Aiguille du Midi cable car, for access to the Vallée Blanche, is 600 metres away.
