Our opinion

This is a very stylish property with a large mature garden in a secluded, quiet area just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Chamonix. There is plenty of space in the property as it is but equally there are possibilities to open up the main floor to create a more contemporary feel. The attic space could also be converted to create additional living space.

Location

Songenaz is a hamlet in the peaceful area of Les Bossons - 4km (less than a 10 minute drive) south-west of Chamonix and 5km from Les Houches, with easy access to the main road in/out of the Chamonix valley. Chamonix and Les Houches both offer a large choice of shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The closest ski lifts/ ski areas are Bellevue in Les Houches and Brévent in Chamonix, both around a 10 minute drive away. There is a train station in Les Bossons and a regular bus service runs to Chamonix, Les Houches and the different ski areas.
