    Chalet Aston is situated in la Frasse, a residential area to the east of Chamonix centre. It is less than a 15 minute walk to the town (1200 metres) and just over 10 minutes to the swimming pool and sports centre. The nearest bar and restaurant is the popular Micro-Brasserie du Chamonix, less than 10 minutes walk (850 metres).

    For access to the skiing, the nearest bus stop is 300 metres away on Route du Bouchet, with la Flégère (1600 metres) the nearest ski area, le Brévent being almost equidistant (1800 metres).
