Our opinion

A great example of what you get for your money outside the centre of Chamonix itself. A chalet with volume in great condition with a lovely garden/views and decent transport links. There is an opportunity to buy a plot of adjacent land to create a larger garden or to build a small guest chalet. A very nice home or rental investment (as it is operated by the current owners).

Location

Les Bossons is 4km (less than a 10 minute drive) south-west of Chamonix and 4km from Les Houches, with easy access to the main road in/out of the Chamonix valley. Chamonix and Les Houches both offer a large choice of shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The closest ski lifts/ ski areas are Bellevue in Les Houches and Brévent in Chamonix, both around a 10 minute drive away. There is a train station 10 minutes' walk from the chalet and a regular bus service runs to Chamonix, Les Houches and the different ski areas.
