    Chalet Michelle is a lovely 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom chalet within walking distance of the centre of Chamonix.     The first floor can be accessed via stairs from the ground floor, or via the balcony from outside. It is entirely given over to living space and has a good sized, fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining and living areas. There is a woodburning stove and access to the terrace with fabulous, open views of Mont Blanc, the Bossons Glacier and the surrounding peaks.

    The top floor has a further three bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room, and there is a separate family bathroom. Outside there is parking space for two cars.

    Our opinion
    Small but perfectly formed. This is an ideal, low maintenance, lock-up-and leave chalet within walking distance of Chamonix town centre. By removing the large hedge to the side, there is scope to increase the garden area for better outdoor, but it is otherwise in great condition. Good rental potential, this is a ready made investment.

    Chalet Michelle is located in the popular Favrands residential area of Chamonix, an easy, flat 15 minute walk to the west of the town centre. The chalet is easily walkable (500 metres, 5 minutes) to the supermarket, bakery, etc at les Pelerins and a similar distance to the train stop at les Moussoux.
