    The apartment has a ski locker and a cave on the lower ground level, with access to a communal bike store. There is also access to the Chamonix Sud underground car park.

    Our opinion
    Although part of Chamonix Sud, Chamois Blanc is the only standalone building and is away from the bars across private gardens. It is a well maintained building with concierge and has proved to be the most successful rental proposition. Small, but perfectly formed and functional, the apartments on the 6th floor are the most sought after in the building.

    Chamois Blanc is situated to the south-west of Chamonix town centre. It is 450 metres from the main shopping street, Rue Docteur Paccard (4 minutes by foot), but many amenities are in the immediate vicinity. The nearest supermarket is Spar (main season only) in the square in Chamonix Sud (200 metres away). There are several bars and restaurants within a minutes walk. For access to the slopes, there isn't really anywhere more convenient as it is right opposite the main bus stop. The nearest ski area is Brévent, 2 minutes by bus. The Aiguille du Midi cable car in 200 meters away, giving access to the infamous Vallée Blanche.
