    The Grand Tetras building is situated between the two main ski lifts in Les Houches, the Prarion and Bellevue. It is no more than 200 metres from the former, which is the main lift to the slopes as well as the meeting point for the ski schools. It is very easy to ski directly to the building in winter, so it is ideally placed. Along with a few cafés and shops at the Prarion lift, there are a number of bars, restaurants and shops at the Bellevue lift, 650 metres (6 minute walk) away. The main village itself is a 20 minute walk (1400 metres away).
