The nearest supermarket is Spar (main season only) in the square in Chamonix Sud (100m away). There are several bars and restaurants within a minutes' walk.
For access to the slopes, Grepon is very well located, being 150m from the main bus stop. The closest ski area is Brévent, just a few minutes' bus ride away. It is also no more than 2 minutes' walk to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, giving access to the infamous Vallée Blanche.
