LocationLa Cordee is located in a peaceful, sunny area by the lake in the Plaine des Praz, within easy walking distance of Chamonix golf course (1200m) and a pleasant walk along the river to the town centre (1400m, 20 minutes). It is also close to the main sports centre (swimming pool, tennis courts, etc, 1200m) as well as many walking trails and cross-country ski tracks in the Bois du Bouchet. For public transport, the nearest bus stop is on Route des Praz (350m), with the nearest train station at les Praz (1000m). The closest ski lifts are at la Flégère (3 minute drive, 1.2km) with the Grands Montets nearby (8 minute drive) and Brévent (5 minute drive).
