Our opinion

This is a very well built chalet whose interior has been well-thought out. It would make a great renovation project for someone wishing to create a 4/5 bed chalet with superb views in an exclusive and quiet location. The chalet is very close to the Prarion and Maisoneuve ski lifts and it's possible to ski back to the chalet from the Prarion piste.

Arguably the most exclusive location in Les Houches, Les Chavants benefits from year-round sunshine and easy access to the ski areas. Being above the Valley floor, it has panoramic views along the Valley and up to the surrounding peaks. The nearest ski lift is the Prarion gondola - just 2-3 minutes by car. The nearest public transport is in the same location, with buses running from Prarion into Chamonix and up the Valley to le Tour. The nearest supermarket is in Les Houches, just over a 5 minute drive away (3.4 km).
