Our opinion

Chalet Econtres is in a wonderful position by the river in a sought-after part of the Valley. Although the chalet is in excellent condition, it would benefit from updating throughout, with potential to extend subject to planning.

Location

The chalet is located in La Plaine des Praz, on a peaceful semi-pedestrianised walking/cycle path that runs the length of the Arve river. It is located 5 minutes from the tennis courts and swimming pool and an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of Chamonix with its restaurants, shops and bars. The village of Les Praz is a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction where there are local shops and restaurants and the Flégère gondola for access to the Flégère - Brévent ski areas. Regular buses run from near the chalet to all the ski areas in the valley.
