This is a good example of what you can get for your money outside of the centre of Chamonix. A beautifully finished chalet in a quiet location, but still just a short drive to the hustle and bustle of Chamonix.

Location

Songenaz is 4km (less than a 10 minute drive) south-west of Chamonix and 4km from Les Houches, with easy access to the main road in/out of the Chamonix valley. Chamonix and Les Houches both offer a large choice of shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The closest ski lifts/ ski areas are Bellevue in Les Houches and Brévent in Chamonix, both around a 10 minute drive away. There is a train station 10 minutes' walk from the chalet and a regular bus service runs from the chalet to Chamonix, Les Houches and the different ski areas.
