Our opinion

This is an excellent lock up and leave chalet literally at the foot of the pistes and opposite the cable car. With several amenities in the immediate vicinity, it has all the conveniences on the doorstep.

The chalet itself is of a high standard both in terms of construction and internal finishing. Although it is above the Kitsch Inn, there is no impact on the chalet and has been occupied by a young family for the last few years.

Location

The chalet is uniquely situated right at the foot of the pistes in les Houches and the Bellevue cable car. You can't get any more ski-in, ski-out than this chalet.

The Bellevue area itself has several restaurants, café/bars, ski rentals, bakery and other shops with the main centre of les Houches a few minutes walk away (700 metres). The chalet is metres from the nearest bus stop with the train station just under 15 minutes walk.

It is directly connected to the main autoroute for easy access down the Valley (Geneva airport, less than an hour) and up to Chamonix (10 minutes). It is also well situated for the other ski areas covered by the Mont Blanc Unlimited Pass, namely St Gervais, Mégève and les Contamines.
