Our opinion

Measuring 21m² this studio would be an excellent investment opportunity or a good weekend bolt hole in the Chamonix valley. Although in need of a refreshment, it would not take much to bring the property up to a good standard and be able to maximise its rental return. The balcony is a huge bonus, adding a funtional outdoor space not often seen with studios.

Location

The apartment building is situated just to the south-west of Chamonix town centre. It is 450 metres from the main shopping street, Rue Docteur Paccard, but many amenities are in the immediate vicinity. There are several bars and restaurants within a minutes' walk.

For access to the slopes, it is very close to the main bus stop. The nearest ski area is Brévent, 2 minutes by bus. It is also no more than 2 minutes' walk to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, giving access to the infamous Vallée Blanche.
