Our opinion

This is possibly one of the nicest apartments in Chamonix Sud. It was renovated right back to the concrete walls including new electrics, plumbing and insulation giving it a much more modern feel than most. The slightly larger floor area gives space for fixed bunk beds in the hallway plus a good sized kitchen. With excellent views and a quiet position away from the square, it is a strong, turnkey investment purchase.

Location

Iris 3 is in Chamonix Sud, close to the famous Aiguille du Midi cable car and within metres of Chamonix town centre. In the immediate vicinity, there are a number of bars, restaurants, shops and the Spar supermarket.

For access to the pistes, the main bus stop is less than 200 metres from the apartment. All the transfer buses from Geneva also drop here, so it is very conveniently placed. The nearest train station is on Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi, less than 250 metres away.
